It's been about 4 yrs. Back then I wanted it...not badly enough, I guess.
Perseverance. Patience.
Going natural. Fuzzy hair. Short, kinky hair. Breaks between salon re-locs, palm rolling.
I am going to try again. This time it feels as though I have people around me who are supportive and are also on this same journey.
I'm enjoying much more this time around. I appreciate who I see and what I see in the mirror.
More mature.
More confident.
I am not my hair... :)
