This bronze goddess, although hailing from New York, is of Bahamian and Guyanese heritages. She is a model, presenter and artist. But, what I love equally about Wahidah are her frankness and perseverance.

What can I say? There are not many people from my observation who rock their locs that size with that much sexiness and confidence. She has proudly stated that having her hair natural and locked has been all she knows as she has worn her hair locked from childhood.
Seeing her rock her thick locs add sparkle to my journey especially given that mine, too, are thick in size.
